Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in her 86th year. Dear wife of the late Gaetano. Loving mother to Tony and his wife Rita. Cara Nonna to Laura and Alexandra. Beloved sister to Maria Chiovitti and Filomena Ciccone. Carmela will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Stephanie, Rose, Jaena, Raynette and Joan for their compassionate care. Visitation will take place at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 3 p.m. A funeral Service will take place on Monday, December 5, 2011 at St. Eugene's Church at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow in Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
