Loving mother of Anna (Barry) Carte, Bernie (Jack) Simpson, and Annette Simpson. Cherished grandmother of Heather (Michael) Meeks, Teresa (Daniel) Goldstein, Valerie Carte, Taylor Simpson, and Nathan Simpson. Proud G.G. to great-grandchildren Seth, Reuben, Sullivan, Abbey, and Everly.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings Yvonne Boyles and Tom (Carol) Hall, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is reunited with her late sister Patricia (Willy) Weidner.

Carolyn devoted her life to her family. They were the most important thing to her.

The family wish to thank the staff and volunteers at Queen's Garden, Hamilton for their compassionate care and support of their mother for these last, many years. They (Sue, Lana, Simone, Shannon, Kathy, Amina and others) treated her like their own mother. Always remembered and never forgotten her favourite colour and sayings "Purply Durply", and Anna Banana from Montana. We will never forget all her funny stories and rhymes involving Nathan.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will have a private celebration at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
