Suddenly, and unexpectedly in his 75th year. Cherished father to son, Michael Williams and Amanda (Wedekind); daughter, Cathryn McMeechan and son-in-law Mohamed Mawwad; and son, Darryl and Judy (Ferguson) Williams. Proud 'Papa' to five grandchildren, Amberly, Cheyenne April, Ashley and Trevor and ten great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Ruth Elaine Williams, parents Ben and Daisy Williams, four brothers, and two sisters. Survived by sisters, Cora Erb, Isabelle Furler, and Lorraine Cvetkovic, also brother-in-law Glen Leitch, a great many nieces and nephews. 'Cec' was retired, after 34 years with the HSR. There will be a visitation for friends, and family at Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main St. E., in Hamilton, on Friday, January 28, from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
