BOND, Cecilia GardinerBorn in Regina, Saskatchewan on September 13, 1912, peacefully passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, in her 98th year. Survived by her beloved son Hugh, grandchildren Carol Fox of Toronto, Mirna Seidel of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tracy Fox of Toronto, David Fox of London, Ontario, great-granddaughter Malaika Cecilia Fox of Toronto, niece Stephanie Leishman, nephews Stephen Shore, Terry Shore, all of Saskatoon and nephews Warren Smith and Robert Smith of Edmonton. Predeceased by her loving husband Hugh Smyth Bond, daughter Joan Fox, son-in-law Bill Fox, sister Betty Shore and brother Syd Smith. Cecilia was a long time valued employee of SimpsonWigle Law. Thank you to the staff at Hamilton General Hospital 8 South and St. Peter's Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 615 Main Street East (East of Sanford), in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
