Beloved daughter of Carmine and Rosa (predeceased) Acernese and cherished sister to Angela Shibish (predeceased), Ranny Acernese, and Frank (Lee Anne) Acernese. Loving aunt to Eva (Peter) Jankevicius, Victoria (Brett) Nickle, David and Joey Acernese, and Carmen and Grace Acernese. Her love of travel, food, and friends were so important to her in her early years and provided much comfort in these last 6 years when this illness had limited her physically but not stolen her vivacious spirit. The family would like to thank Wentworth Lodge in Dundas for the loving and kind care they shared with Christina since 2021. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday May 4 from 5-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, 200 Mount Albion Road, Hamilton on Friday May 5, 2023 at 10 am. Cremation to follow.
