It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christine at the Juravinski Hospital on February 12, 2017 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of her loving, dedicated husband Bob for 49 years. Devoted mother of Robert, Jason (Shannon), Aaron (Louise) and Cameron (Janine). Cherished Nana of Savannah, Trevor, Raquel, Gemma and Jasmine. Special sister of Valerie (Peter) Walters, Lori (Al) Pagnan, sister-in-law of Bev (Rick) Howard, Doug (Pat) and the late George. Christine will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Predeceased by her parents John and Pauline Koziol. Special thanks to all the health care professionals that cared for Christine throughout her lengthy illness. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 63 Highway 20 East, on Thursday February 16, 2017 at 10 am. Interment Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
