She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth and is now reunited with her beloved husband, John Seguin, who predeceased her and whom she missed dearly.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her children, Annette (Joe), Carole (Colin), Chantelle, Gilles (Josie), and Guy, as well as her grandchildren Ashley and Nathan, and great-grandchildren Anthony and Nicholas and many loving friends and family.
Our family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Norview Lodge in Simcoe, especially Dr. Davidson, for his kindness and gentle support during her final days.
Our mother found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved music, butterflies, and the colour yellow — all things that reflected her gentle spirit and the warmth she brought to others.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and quietly celebrated in the many small ways she made the world brighter.
A celebration of her life will be held in the spring at The Royal Botanical Gardens, where loved ones will gather in her honour. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. Online condolences can be made at www.markeydermody.com.
