Loving, devoted wife to her forever adoring husband Nicola (Nic) for 58 years; selfless, caring mother to her endlessly grateful children, Anna Maria, Raffaele and Antonio and their spouses; doting nonna to her treasured grandchildren Michaela, Jonathan, Gilia, Liam, Xavier and Mattéo, who brought her so much joy. They will cherish her forever.
Concettina was born in Delianuova, Reggio Calabria, Italy. She is predeceased by her parents, Raffaele and Filomena Frisina and siblings in Canada and Italy.
Concettina’s greatest passion has always been family and “getting together”. Her cooking, baking, gardening, preserves, knitting, sewing and singing always brought joy and love to those close to her. She exemplified strength, passion, generosity, kindness, and creativity.

Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St E. (at Kenilworth) on Friday October 04, 2-4 pm and 6-8pm with Rosary at 6 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, 200 Mount Albion Rd. Saturday Oct 05, 10 am. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
