With deep sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Craig Arthur Shipway, age 69, of Hamilton, Ontario, on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Beloved husband and best friend of Cindy for 38 years; cherished Dad to Ashley (T.J.) and Alicia (the kitties) and proud Papa to Charlee, Maddie, Hannah and Dominik. Respected son-in-law to Tom and Sonja King(deceased). Survived by his siblings Susan (Gary) and Byron; predeceased by parents John and Sylvia Shipway and siblings Brent and Adele. He leaves behind many dear friends and extended family. Craig was a jack-of-all-trades who could make and fix anything. He enjoyed the simple life, his home, working in the backyard, his cats and his family. Craig could always be found puttering around gardening, building a clubhouse or a bookshelf, feeding the birds and squirrels or watching his Toronto Maple Leafs or WWE wrestling. Always had room for dessert. He was a dedicated hard worker who took pride in everything around him and always willing to lend a helping hand. He leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished and honoured by his wife, daughters and grandchildren. We love you always and forever, until we meet again.
