Dale James Bochek

Dale is predeceased by his loving wife Joanne. He is survived by his brother Robert, children Debbie Klement (Darryl), Patti Bochek (Dave) & Brent Bochek (Heather); his grandchildren Katie Timson (George), Jesse Pappin (Kayla), Justin Bochek, Samantha Klement, Rebecca Burningham (Kurt) & Breanne Bochek; and his great grandchildren Olivia, Emily, Jared.

Dale was a true family man and was most happy spending time with his loved ones where there was always a shortbread cookie ready and waiting.

For 65 years Dale was a proud member of Local 105 IBEW, where he enjoyed the many events of the seniors club, especially cards on Monday afternoons.

On any given day Dale could be found tending to his extensive garden from which his loving wife always got the first blooms of the season, even after she passed. He also enjoyed traveling, golf, euchre, cribbage, lawn bowling, making his famous jams, fishing for walleye, hockey and his beloved Detroit Red Wings. In his earlier years, Dale spent countless hours, over several years, at the ice rink coaching the tyke division with the HMHA.

The family would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to Dale’s friends and neighbours Nick & Colleen, and Stephen for their love, friendship and support they bestowed upon Dale for many years.

Gratitude also goes to the staff of St. Peter’s Hospital, 3 East for the excellent care provided to Dale. Your kindness, compassion, and empathy know no bounds. Special thanks goes to RPN Sarah M who Dale thought was an angel, even if she beat him at a cribbage game or two.
