Dania Lynne Whitney

Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 10, 2014 in her sixty-eighth year. Beloved wife of Peter and proud mother of Andrew. Loving sister of Donna Mainville. Dania volunteered at St. Peter’s Hospital and various other Hamilton healthcare facilities. She was a consummate caregiver putting others first despite her own challenges. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to join in a Celebration of Life for Dani on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cresmount Funeral Home - “Upper James Chapel”, 1020 Upper James Street, Hamilton. Donations to St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre Nephrology Unit or Hamilton General Hospital’s Cardiology Department would be appreciated.

Weep not for me though I am gone

into that gentle night.

Grieve if you will, but not for long

upon my soul's sweet flight.

I am at peace; my soul's at rest;

For with your love I was so blessed

for all those many years.
