

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daryl Cameron on September 10, 2013, at the age of 57, after a brave battle with cancer.
Daryl was the devoted husband to Sandra (Cruden) for 29 years, proud father of Chelsea (Stenley), Mallorie and Dean, step-father to Tyrone Berry and beloved grandfather to Alexis and Ryder.
Loving brother to Jack Stinson, Betty Thurston, Sharon Bartlett and Pat Stinson (deceased). Brother-in-law to Linda Nelson (Donny), Ronald Cruden, John Cruden and Phyllis Fehr (Tom). Uncle to Allen, Carol and Kim Bartlett, Cindy, Stanley and Bonnie Stinson, Sandy Burns and Randy Bartlett, Bill and Christina Batari, Leslie Belanger (Tim), Marianne Cruden, Matthew Cruden (Angie), Brandy Fehr (Tim) and Candice Pugh (Jay Cabanas). Extended in-law to Debbie and Yvonne Cruden. Daryl will also be missed by many great nieces and nephews.
Daryl was blessed to have a very large extended family including Warren Lancaster, Pat (Cathy), Joe and Rose Seminara, Ken Caldwell, Larry Gardiner and many others who he considered to be brothers and sisters. Daryl was fortunate to have many wonderful, caring friends. Daryl was a retired employee of Stelco, where he worked for 32 years.
Daryl is resting at Marlatt Funeral Home at 615 Main St East (east of Sanford), Hamilton. Friends will be received by the family on Friday September 13, 2013 from 2 pm-4 pm and 6 pm–8 pm, and on Saturday September 14, 2013 from 9:30-11am, followed by a short celebration of life and refreshments.
Thank you to the many people who helped care for Daryl during his illness including the staff at JCC, Dr. Paul Miller, Dr. Hope, Ann RN, Jennifer RN and Sevla from Bayshore Home Health.
Donations can be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Daryl’s memory. Donation cards will be available at the funeral home.
