With much love, adoration, and great sadness, we announce the passing of a dear partner, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, in his 83rd year on March 20th, 2014. Already deeply missed, David leaves behind his loving and devoted partner of 35 years, Esther Brown, his children Maria Capuano (Michael), Daniel David Carter (Linda), Teresa Boniface (Joseph), Pam Smith (Tim), Peter Brown, Patricia Wilson (Terry), Leslie Brown (Janet), predeceased by Paul Brown; all grandchildren of the Carters and Browns; siblings Robert Carter (Sharon), April Gray (Robert); predeceased by Frank Carter, Evelyn Yates, and Shirley Van Stone; many nieces, nephews, and friends. A very special thank you to the amazing staff in the ICU of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNREAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., for a celebration of life on Tuesday, March 25th from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Lung Association.
