Our heartfelt condolences go out to Dave's extended family.

I worked together with Dave at Camco in the 80's.  In the beginning we would go for a beer or 2 on fridays after work. He would say lets get out of here, grab a case of beer go to my house listen to tunes. Sure Dave that sounds good , but are you sure your wife wont mind ? Oh no problem don't worry.  Ok, so off we go to Dave's house, with no notice we show up on a friday at 6pm, usually 2 or 3 of us in tow, dressed in work clothes, unannounced. Honey I'm home (with 3 grubby looking friends). His wife Janice would come in the room say hi how you doing, not even bat an eye, and continue about whatever she was doing. We were fully expecting to be told to "hit the road" but it never happened. Never. That was the beauty of Dave and his wife Janice. They welcomed everyone into there home. Then a Neil Young record would go on the stereo and of course Dave would sing along... We went fishing, played touch football a couple years and shared some good laughs. He had that wry smile and glint in his eye, a real honest, salt of the earth guy...Those that knew him would agree. Rest in peace old friend.
