Passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on July 21.
He is predeceased by his parents Robert (Bob) and Jeanette Cooke.
He will be missed by his brothers Bruce (Suzanne) and Paul, Aunts Lucy Migus and Rosalie Yaremko along with many cousins.
Dennis was a lifelong Hamilton Tiger Cats fan and was happiest attending games and cheering them on until he lost his voice. He was most proud of his work with the CFL as a statistician for the Ti-Cats for many years. As winter approached he exchanged that jersey for a Montreal Canadians one, and thoroughly enjoyed when they beat the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Friends will be received at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main St. East, on Wednesday, July 27 from 9-11 am. A Celebration of Dennis’ Life will follow in the chapel at 11 am. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery.
