Dionisio De Tina

He is happily joining his loving wife Valeria, in heaven, after 69 years of marriage. Dionisio was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who was a role model of faith, compassion, strength and honour to both friends and family. Our father’s guidance and companionship will be deeply missed here on earth, but the love we share with him will continue to grow and manifest itself in our lives.

Cherished father of Donald (Mary Lou), Renato (Enza), and Lorraine Davison (Murray). Nonno of Annemaria (Dave), Emilio (Lucy), Daniella (Jesse), Gregory (Brandon). Bisnonno of Oliver, Eloise and Sophia. Cherished brother of Sergio De Tina, and extended family in Friuli, Italy. Dionisio is also reunited with his granddaughter Alicia, brothers Ermanno, Riccardo, Gino and his sister Teresa in Heaven.

Visitation will be at Markey Dermody Funeral Home at 1774 King St. East in Hamilton from 4-7pm on Tuesday April 25. Prayers will begin at 4pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene’s Parish at 10am on Wednesday April 26, followed by entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Canadian Cancer Society or St. Eugene's Parish.
