Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021 at the Hamilton General Hospital, she was in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Inglehart (2004) as well as her parents Gordon and Hazel Laurie. Dolores will be sadly missed by her many friends, neighbours, and relatives.
Dolores was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on February 15, 1930 and came to Canada as a toddler. She went on to be an executive assistant at ArcelorMittal Dofasco for many years. She was also an avid seamstress, a devoted member of MacNab Street Presbyterian Church, and a strong advocate for the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA. Dolores’ tireless care made it possible for her parents to remain in the family home until their passing. It was important for Dolores to also remain independently in her family home, and with the help of her dear friends, neighbours, and her most beloved companion, Bonnie, the Bischon Frise who remained faithfully by her side.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens (1895 Main St. W., Hamilton, ON). Donations in memory of Dolores may be made to The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA; share memories or online condolences by visiting www.marlattfhhamilton.com.
