Passed away peacefully on November 9, 2012 at St. Peter’s Hospital in his 72nd year after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario on February 16, 1941. Dear husband of the late Jill Larocque. Loving father of Guy (Cathy), Greg (Stacey) and April Cipparone (Sam). Beloved grandfather of Melissa, Heather, Scottie, Hailee, and Kyle. Survived by his sister Jeannine Leclerc and brother Lucien and predeceased by his parents Artel and Jeanne and his sister Lucienne. Don worked at Otis Elevator for 22 years where he made many lasting friendships. Special thanks to the nurses and staff on 3 East at St. Peter’s Hospital. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (440 King Street East) on Wednesday, November 14th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
