Peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Juravinski Hospital on February 19, 2016 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Anne (nee Collins) for 48 years. Loving father of Louise Williams (Brian) and Don. Cherished grandfather of Taylyn, Ainsleigh, Liam, Lennon and Katie. Will be sadly missed by his brother and sister in-law Jim and Anne Collins, nieces and nephews in Scotland, Australia and New Zealand. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Annie McInnes, in-laws Jim and Kate Collins, as well as, his brothers and sisters. Donald was a proud member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenter’s Local 18. Special thanks to Dr. Miller and the nurses at Juravinski Hospital for their exceptional care. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East, on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat For Humanity.
