

It is with deepest sorrow that the family announces the passing of Donald (Don) on Wednesday May 7th, 2025 at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton at the age of 90. Don was born on February 10th, 1935 in Mission, British Columbia.
He is survived by his wife, Janet, sons Kelvin (Colleen) and Wayne (Jill, deceased) and much loved grandchild Lauren (Tyler). Don was predeceased by his brothers Stanley and Bobby (age 7) and his sister Linda.
Don was employed for many years in the Engineering Department at International Harvester, on Sherman Avenue in Hamilton, and was given the nickname "Scotty". He was later employed at Erectoweld in Oakville.
In his younger days, he loved fishing and later enjoyed building model boats, including the Cutty Sark, the Bluenose, and the USS Constitution. He also liked collecting stamps and coins.
Don was a long-time member of the Meridian Lodge, Hamilton.
As per Don's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Donations in Donald's memory to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, Hamilton would be appreciated. He was well taken care at Bob Kemp Hospice in his last days.
