OBITUARY

Donalda Anne Marie Poulin

July 25, 1937May 19, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Donna in the arms and care of her youngest daughter Nicole Jacqueline Poulin, who had taken care of her for the past 5 years and re-located her into her home when diagnosed with early onset Vascular Dementia.

She is now with her husband Jacques Poulin and extended family and friends that she dreamed of and missed. She will be forever remembered by her other children Jean Pierre Poulin (Cindy), Colette Sheppard (late Jerry), her grandsons Dustin and Kyle Sheppard, her extended cousins, nephews, nieces and and all the close friends that are too many to name here.

Donna enjoyed her knitting, crocheting, and quilting with all the ladies at Paroisse Notre-Dame Du Perpétuel Secours. She loved playing cards and getting together with friends, taking trips and just lived life to the fullest. In her later years, she joined The Red Hat Society and continued to love her social gatherings. The family wishes to thank all the help from VON, Alzheimer Society, LHIN, PSWs and Nicole and Donna's neighbours and friends who really helped throughout the years.

Following her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public service or mass due to covid-19. There will be a private family interment. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Alzheimer Society .

Dear Poulin family, I am so sorry to hear of your momd recent passing. Your mom (and dad) were long time friends of my parents Leo and Bernice Dwyer. Our families have lots of fond memories with you all. Your mom was kind, interesting and fun. My friend rented your house on Mt Albion several years ago and being back in it brought alot of memories back for me. May all you memories of your mom stay close to your heart. Sending our sympathy and condolences. Pam and the Dwyer family.

Sending my condolence to the family on the loss of your mother.
We visited and played cards with your parents when we all lived
in Mount Albion. I use to see your mom when she worked in
Zellar's . She was at the visitation for my Husband in Jan. 2012.
God Bless.

Je voudrais donner à la famille mes sincères condoléances!
Donna will fondly be remembered as a warm, kind-hearted soul. My time spent together with Donna and Nicole at the theater or during their visit to Blue Mountain are moments in time that will not be forgotten. I pray the family will find peace in her memories and comfort knowing she now smiles alongside your father Jacques and the angels in Heaven. May she rest in peace.
Gros bisous,
Stephanie

Dear Nicole and family, I would like to pass on our sincere condolences to you all, so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed your mother when visiting with Yolande several years ago in Florida, and she made a blanket for Remy when he was a baby. She was so much fun and a pleasure to spend time with then and a couple of years ago at Yolande’s mass and reception. A big hug to you, and know you are thought of at this time. God Bless, you, Ellen , Roger, Remy and Marielle

Hi, I'm very sorry for the passing of your mother, she always seemed to be a nice caring person and usually had a smile. I had bought the Spec just for the obituary because my mom had just passed as well. When I noticed your Mom in there, it hurt, I always thought she was a wonderful person and she will certainly be missed!! Wishing you the best in these rough and trying times, your friend and former neighbour,
Herman
