Donna M. Madden

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donna in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of John “Sean” for over 40 years. Loving mother to Melissa (Rhys) and Caitlin. Cherished Granny M of Callum, Samuel and Fionnula. She will dearly missed by her many friends and relatives in Cape Breton, Ireland and throughout Canada and New Zealand.

She was greatly appreciated by her many employers throughout her life. Starting at the Wentworth County Board of Education and planning in the NWT and retiring from Stantec as an environmental planner. She loved spending time sailing and cottage weekends away surrounded by her many friends. She was very organized and found joy in planning every event. Donna was selfless, thoughtful, genuine and kind. She brought everyone together and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
