Born November 29th 1928 in Ayton, ON. Doreen grew up on the family farm. She continued her life in Hamilton, ON and enjoyed a career as a nurse. Predeceased by parents Henry & Maryann, sister Bea (Arthur), brothers Clifford and Wellington. Also predeceased by husband Bill in 1983. Doreen was Mom to Kathryn (Robert), Judy (Mike) & Joanne (Andy). Doreen was an amazing Grandma to Melanie (Ron), Marianne (Rich), Sarah (Joe), Nick (Bree), Madeline & Leah, GG to 8, Great GG to 1. Matriarch of our family, a laugh and smile that will stay with us always. Until we see you again, you have a piece of our heart. Special thanks to the staff at Chartwell Willowgrove Long Term Care Residence. Will be missed by family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Doreen will be privately laid to rest at Alsfeldt United Church in Ayton, ON this summer.
