My memories of Doris reach back to the 30's on Hall Ave in Windsor Ontario through to Leeside and Roe Avenues in Toronto in the 40's and 60's. Doris was a caring Sister to me in all those years. Also in later years as cottage neighbours at Sharbot Lake Ontario. Many thanks Doris for all the laughs and good times we shared and the good memories you have instilled in me.

We always enjoyed a visit with Doris and Ralph and their family from the big city, during the 60s, in particular.  Doris had an infectious laugh, and was at ease with children.  "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints"

What a wonderful woman Doris was! She was a great teacher of love, family, and togetherness. A fantastic Mother-in-law, loving & generous Grandmother, and terrific mentor. Thank you for sharing her with me. She taught me so much about family, always with a laugh or smile, and a "chilled out" attitude.She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and remember her.

I have years of happy memories of Doris and Ralph hosting a noisy crowd at the cottage at Sharbot Lake. Year round, Doris always had a smile on her face even though we probably kept her awake until all hours of the night with our laughter. She was a great Mom and good Friend and will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Rest in Peace, Doris.

To the family of Doris:  We remember many happy times spent with your mum and your dad in the 60's and 70's at our Christadelphian functions.  Your mum always had a very pleasant countenance and loved to talk about her children.  She was very hospitable and we still have vivid memories of the "singing classes" in your livingroom. I have many great memories of sharing time with both of them and you over the years. Your friendships are some of those I value most.

I have many pleasant memories of our Jones family life   together at 20 Roe Avenue Toronto...
Also, in later years,when we were separated  by distance,the few times we happened to meet especially at Sharbot Lake, I will always remember  her spirit and joy of life and the love and devotion she had for the Ayers and  Jones families.
 
Doris was blessed to enjoy many more years than the Biblica three-score years and ten... she was  also blessed  to be taken away  peacefully in her sleep.
 
May her loved ones be comforted in their sorrow and may Doris's soul rest in Peace.
