Dorothy May Cooper

Surrounded by the love of her daughter, Dorothy passed away at home on April 20, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by her husband Douglas. Loving mother to Roy (Sharon) and Karen (Don). Special grandma to Melanie and Kevin. Dear sister to Kathleen, Eddie and Herbie. Predeceased by her sisters Patsy, Nora and Jacqueline. Godmother to Kelly. Best friend of many years to Harold. Sadly missed by her neices, nephews and many friends. Dorothy was a beautiful person inside and out. She was so patient, kind and gentle. Dorothy enjoyed her time at the casino, she loved to play cards. Most importantly she loved her family and friends and spending time with them. She will be deeply missed. Visitation for Dorothy will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL 1309 King Street East (at the Delta, opposite Gage Park) 905549-2417 on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
