Dorothy Duffield

Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her children Kenneth Nikolas, Gordon (Joyce) and Andrea (Vince). Cherished Baba of Nikolai, Simeon, Dmitri, Sierra and Sabrina. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Mary and also siblings Diane, Patricia (Danny) and Sonny. She will also be missed by her extended family, Nadine and her children Christina, Nicholas, Anthony, Jeffrey, Joey, Pasquale, Angelo and Regina and families; Diane and her children Gordon William, Jeffrey, Brandon (predeceased), Jodi, Michael, John Paul and Gary and families; Rosalie and her children Michael and family and Steven (predeceased); Melina and family. She will always be remembered for her kindness, unconditional generosity, her love to laugh, love of animals and tenacious spirit. We will all miss her baking, especially her birthday cakes, holiday cookies and fine needle work. Special thank you to the Cardiac Unit (4W) at the Hamilton General Hospital for their compassionate care and support.

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East on Monday April 3 from 4-8pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton and Burlington SPCA.
