Dorothy Stones-Sparks

After a 20 year battle and now joining her beloved daughter Kendra Shaye LaRose, Dodie passed on July 19, 2017 at the age of 65. Lovingly remembered by her husband and dearest friend, Michael Sparks. She is the eldest of 9 children, including Ed, Doris, Kins, Marie (Brian), Patrick (Irene), Rose (Mike), Frank (Magda) and John (Michelle). Also an amazing mother to Roy Stones, Elijah Stones, Shawn Stones and Frank Stones (Tiffany), grandmother to 9 and great-grandmother to 1. She will be ever-loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and everyone who knew her. Following a private interment of her cremated remains, friends and family will gather to celebrate her life at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL (1309 King Street East, across from Gage Park at the Delta) on Saturday, July 29 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
