Survived by his wife Katherine. Loving father to Melanie (Ian) and Mandy (Josh). Grandpa to Oceanna, Amber Lee, Lexis, Chassi, Porsha and Austin. Dear brother to Nancy (Brad). He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Shirley and by his sister Carolyn. He will be fondly remembered by all his extended family and many friends.
In keeping with Doug's wishes, cremation has taken place and a gathering to celebrate his life will take place in the near future.
