Suddenly with family by her side at the Hamilton General Hospital on June 24, 2011 in her 78th year. Beloved partner of Matt Turnbull. Loving mother of Ritchie Harrison (Peggy), Rachel Raike (the late Kim) and Velvet Roberts (Dan). She is predeceased by her sons, Dwayne and Trevor Harrison. She will be dearly missed by her step children, Gerald (Alexis), Val and Tracy Turnbull. She will also be missed by her many grand children and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Wilbur Lichty (Verlan).
Her family will receive friends at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. E. on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. and on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 11am in the chapel followed by interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
