Ellis, Edna L (nee Redgate) Peacefully at Extendicare on Monday July 2, 2012 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Henry (2007). Loving mother of Bill and Lynn Ellis and Carol and Ken Wilson. Devoted grandmother to Nicole and Mark Kinder, Ryan and Carla Ellis, Chris and Eva Wilson and Jim and Jenna Wilson. Great grandmother to Mary, John, Ethan, Emaly, Noah and Maggie. Dear sister to Betty Dakos and sister in law to Annette Redgate. She was predeceased by her brother Ed Redgate and brother in law Alex Dakos. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, especially Jean Harris who spent so much time with Mom. Edna was a long time member of Glendale Golf & Country Club. A special thanks to the staff at Extendicare for their wonderful care and support. A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday July 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Chedoke Presbyterian Church, where Edna attended for many years, 865 Mohawk Rd. W. Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
