Although it has been many many years since I last saw your parents I will never ever forget how they made their home like a second home to me. Your Mom was a wonderful lady, always smiling, always kind and gentle. 
I wish to express my sincerest condolences for your loss. may she smile down on you always and be forever in your hearts.

Your mom and dad were my next door neighbours for 13 years on Thayer.  Many fond memories of your mom and I working away in the garden together ,  visiting and sharing a cup of tea or coffee.  Your parents were great neighbours and  welcomed this first time home buyer in to the neighbourhood.  My condolences to you and your family at this sad time.  Stay safe.

I am saddened to hear of the loss of your dear Mother & Grandmother. I only came to know Eileen in her later years but right from the start I knew she was a gem. Her love & devotion for her family and her faith always shone brightly in all that she did.  She was kind, she was sweet, she was strong, and she was determined. 
I wrap my virtual love & hugs around all of you as you celebrate the life of Eileen Muriel Stewart.  Embrace the memories and all that you shared together knowing that she will be with you always!

I remember brown sugar toast in the mornings, kind hearted chats in the afternoon and a women who cared for everyone. My best memories are the trips to the beach. The cottage at Turkey point (where the photo was taken) and day trips to Port Dover with the family, always with stops for ice cream on the way home. She could always bring us all together for an outing or a meal. Although I know those times will never be the same without her, I am blessed to hold those memories with her. They will stay with me forever.

One of my most memorable memories of my grandmother is probably the most trivial. I remember walking home from work and there was Grandma with an electric sander, sanding the side of the house and I thought, "Now that's who I want to be. A strong woman, who takes pride in her home, her family and at 80, has the strength and the giddy up to stand the outside of the house. 
 I also am reminding of her humming while she worked around the house and the smell of the church pews when she brought us to service. She was truly an amazing woman. It was a special gift that I was blessed with being able to call her grandma.

My darling great-aunt, you were the last of the Marr children.  Your memory will live on with every single person that ever met you. Anyone who knew you, knew what a great woman you were. You were the kindest, sweetest woman I have ever known. Your family will never forget you. Rest in peace my great-aunt.
