Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on April 1, 2018 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Hugh. Loving mother of Gordon (Sandra) and Rodney (Ellyn). Cherished grandma of Grant, Christine, Craig and Mark and great-grandma of Ryan, Hailey, Cameron, Carter, Hayden and Jaden. Dear sister-in-law of Ruth Farrenden (the late Gord) and Alice Farrenden (the late Clifford). Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, family, neighbours and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Wentworth Lodge (Beech Lane) for their compassionate care. Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 6-9 pm where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11am. Interment Mount Hamilton Cemetery. Donations in Eleanor’s memory, may be made to any hospice.
