It is with a saddened heart that I announce the passing of my beloved wife Betty in her 66th year. Betty was the cherished wife of Wendy Doney (24 years). Loving sister of the late Louisa McSpadden (Bill), the late Frank (Evelyn) and Arthur, dear aunt of Derek, Donna, Stewart and David all of Scotland. Lovingly remembered by family and friends in the US, Scotland and Canada. Betty was a 34 year employee of HPH and 10 year employee of Canada Post. Special thanks to the staff of the Acute Stroke Unit at Hamilton General Hospital for their loving care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday, April 22nd, 2-4pm and 7-9pm; Memorial Service Saturday, April 23rd at 11am. Donations in Betty’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
