We are sending lots of love and prayers your way.  We are so sorry to hear about Auntie Betty.  We wish we could have been there at the funeral.  Here is a fond memory of her from the days when our families went camping together at Elora Gorge.
I let Brenda and Barbara and the other girls paint my toenails different colors.  Jolly Uncle Ralph says, " it looks so pretty TWINKLETOES".    "You fat whale says I" and he put his beer down and chased me in the woods for an hour but he could not catch me.  Later when  I, Twinkletoes came back to the site he says, " lets shake hands speedy".  "OK" I said and he picked me up.  Struggling was no good he put me over his shoulder,  takes a gulp of his beer and carries me to the pond with a parade off crazy wild camper family kids singing, " Twinkletoes,  Twinkletoes away u go Twinkletoes . 1  2  3  splash  to the amusement of all . Climbing out off the pond there was one person trying not to laugh.  Auntie Betty put a towel over my shoulders trying not to laugh and she said, "You know that wont come off for a week.  With a warm hug she held my hand and says, "I thought Uncle Ralph was going to have a heart attack .  You have a special bond with him and that is what I love about our two families." 
Good old Auntie Betty a special mom,  like our mom .  RIP

Growing up as kids, we were all blessed with parents who held family very near and dear to their hearts. As a result us cousins grew up seeing each other often, doing things together as we watched each other grow.  Aunt Bett was a strong part of the bigger family picture, always smiling, always welcoming no matter when we visited.  Aunt Bett, will be sadly missed.  Condolences to our Isles cousins and their families, our thoughts are with you.

When I was young visiting Aunt Bette and Uncle Ralph at Christmas was remember the joy and fun we had. I remember her laugh and felt her love. As time wore on and I moved to Ottawa, I always enjoyed visiting Aunt Bette with my mom and dad. Later seeing her after Uncle Ralph’s funeral and at the annual family reunion. My condolences goes to all my cousins, her memories will always be with me. All my love Tom  Andrews

Thanks Aunt Bette for being such an important part in so many lives.  You were always so happy and loving,  I always jumped at the chance to go visit with Mom and Dad when I was little.  I have loved you for as long as I can remember and will continue to for eternity. To my wonderful cousins and their families; please know that I think of you often and wish you all peace and strength at this time.  You were raised by the best of the best ❤️
