Ethel Theresa Stadler

Died peacefully in her 88th year on February 20, 2014 at Billings Court Manor, Burlington with her family by her side. Born in Saskatchewan and resided in Hamilton. Predeceased by her loving husband John. Beloved mother of Lillian Elliott, Eleanor Harvey, Dolores (Frank) Pessot, Mel (Kathy) Stadler. Loving grandmother of Sean (Gwen) Elliott, Jennifer (Andre) LeBlanc, Chris (HanJeong) Harvey, Greg (Sarah Sharpe) Harvey, Shannon (Peter) Whitelock, Amanda (Anthony) Beltrano, and Katie Stadler. Cherished great grandmother to Jake, Sofia, Stacey, Oudjou, Paulo, Robbie, Chloe, Alessia, Caram, and Ivy. Loving sister to Rose Drotar and Margaret (Ernie) Shivakand predeceased sisters Julia Kotska and Mary Sabo and son in law Murray Harvey. We will always be grateful for the care and support Ethel received from the staff of Kent House at Billings Court. Visitation will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 2-5 p.m. with prayers at 3 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Eugene's Roman Catholic Church (232 Queenston Rd.) on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
