Ferdo Gaspic

It is with great sadness in our hearts that the family announces the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather who passed away on March 26, 2016 in St. Peter’s Hosptial after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born May 6, 1932 in Draganic, Croatia, he leaves behind his dear wife Rozica, sons Nikola (Nada) and Tihomir, daughter Nevenka, grandchildren Christopher (Agnes), Nicholas (Tara) and great granddaughter Matilda. He will be missed by many friends and relatives in Canada and in Croatia. Visitation will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street east (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 9 p.m. with Rosary at 7:30 pm. His body will be transported to Draganic where a memorial mass and burial will be held at St. Juraj (in Draganic). For those who wish, donations to Holy Cross Church or Sv. Juraj would be appreciated. Our Father will always be in our hearts and memories. We would like to thank the kind staff of St. Peter’s Hospital Hamilton for all of their kind work.
