Fern McLean

Sadly, our family announces the passing of Fern on May 14, 2016 at Sudbury Hospital in his 71st year. Predeceased by his loving wife Georgia (2013). Devoted father of Jane Hendershot (Kevin Sr.), Fern Jr. (Toni) and Danny (Crysty). Honourable mention to Kristie O'Neill. Deeply saddened are his brothers Laurent (Linda) and Roger (Gwen) and his sisters Marguerite (Ex), Anita (Norm), Cecile (Noel) and Bernadette (Bill). Beloved Papa to Joe, John, Kevin Jr., Branden, Jewel, Ashlee, Fern, Tabatha, Justin, Daniel, Jack, Cody, Lacey and Dahlya as well as 10 great grandchildren. The family would like to extend special thanks to Marguerite for her compassionate care. Family and friends will gather at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the delta) on Tuesday, May 24 from 10 am to 12:30 pm at which time we will be celebrating his life with a service in the chapel. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place.
