Frances Pust

Peacefully and surrounded by family on October 12th in her 93RD year. Loving wife of Joseph (2011) for 55 years and beloved mother of Agnes and Joe (Patti and son Evan). Devoted Grama-Mama to Andy, Jenny and Charlie, and sister to Jozica in Slovenia. Predeceased by siblings Anica, Marija, Tone and Jozko. Will be missed by family and friends in Canada, Slovenia, and the US. Frances was a long-time supporter of St. Gregory’s Parish and Hamilton’s Slovenian community. Forever grateful for compassion and care provided to Frances and the family by Burlington Gardens, also by the nurses, doctors and staff of the Brant Centre and the Angels in the Aldershot Unit. The family will receive friends at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday October 15th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers on Thursday at 3:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Gregory the Great Slovenian Roman Catholic Church on Friday, October 16th at 10am. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation requested.
