Frank Gowans

Peacefully in Waterloo Ontario, formerly of Hamilton, on May 3, 2015 in his 85th year. United in Heaven to dance again with the love of his life Agnes (nee Love 2008) after 48 years of marriage. Cherished father to Sandra Croley, Linda Janiszewski, Frances Dzamba, Susan (Rakan) Roumia. Beloved grandfather to 12 grandchildren and two great grandsons. Dear brother of Mary Glover and Brother in law of Myrtle Gowans. Predeceased by his siblings, William, Margaret, Hugh, John, Elizabeth, Marion, George and Jean. Frank was retired from American Can/Ball Packaging. He was a lifetime member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 58 and a 50 year member of the Hamilton Navy Veterans Association. Family and friends are welcome to visitation at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 6-9pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday May 7, 2015 at 1pm. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the MS Society Hamilton Chapter or Alzheimer’s Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
