George Harris

October 8, 1945 – March 21, 2011

It is with the deepest sorrow that George’s family announces his peaceful passing with all of us by his side. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Sharon (Langmead), mother Margaret Harris, children Kimberly, Randy and Robbie. His pride and joy; grandsons Drake, Eric, Nickolaus and his princess Brooklynne. George will also be forever loved and deeply missed by his siblings; Gloria Appleby (Gary), Janet, Debbie Shields (Bob), Robert, Cheryl, Neil (Joan), Winnie Baran (Art) and Wayne. Predeceased by his father Robert (1997). The family will receive friends at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (1774 King Street East, Hamilton) on Thursday, March 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 25th at 1:00p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team and Simon “our favorite nurse” for comforting George on his final journey and helping to ease our grief.
