Predeceased by his first wife, Jean (1999), second wife, Rosemary (2017) and his companion, Betty (2023) and sisters in England, Lilian and Irene. Loving father of Andrew (Diane) and Jane (Dennis). Adored grandfather to Matthew (Jessica), Sarah and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Ryder and Charlotte. George also leaves behind his siblings, Mavis, Eric, Linda, David and extended family and friends in England and Canada.
George will be lovingly remembered for his jokes, kindness and sense of humour.
Keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
