Georgina Violet Cundill

CUNDILL: Georgina; (nee Saunders) Peacefully passed away, surrounded by love in the early morning of Sunday March 13th 2022 at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke, Hamilton. Georgie was in the 99th year of her wonderful full life. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” J. Cundill for 57 years. Loving and devoted mum of Patricia and her husband David Baulcomb. Cherished grandma of Andrew (Ciara) and Allison (Justin). Very proud great-nana to Blake, Dylan, and Avery. Dear auntie Georgie to Lori, Malcolm, Bruce, and Cameron, and their families. Georgie is pre-deceased by her parents George P. and Ellen Saunders, infant son Douglas, sister Merle Knights (Robert) and her sister-in-law Betty Duncan. Georgie was a proud life-long member of St. Paul’s United Church, Hamilton, and the UCW. She worked at Levy Bros. Jewellers, Hamilton. Georgie was happiest when surrounded by her family. Her kindness, listening ear and gentle nature will be remembered by many. Special thanks to the entire staff of St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke, especially the angels of Cedar Terrace for your exceptional care. Visitation will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King St E. Hamilton, (at the Delta) on Thursday March 17th from 2:30 – 4:00, with a service to follow in the chapel at 4:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Masks are required.
