METCALF, Gerald (Jerry) – Peacefully passed away surrounded by family at St Peters Hospital on July 6, 2015 at the age of 65. Devoted husband of 37 years to Marilyn. Loving father of Michelle and Rick Baker, Bryan Metcalf, and Jeremy Metcalf. Cherished grandpa to Riley, Zack and Ava. Dear brother of Ted, Bert, Sharon, Gail and brother in law to Jan, Maureen and Bev. Special and much loved son in law to William and Viola Liggett. Jerry will forever live on in the hearts of his nieces, nephews extended family and friends. Jerry and Marilyn were dedicated foster parents, nurturing, caring and loving more than 250 children over the past 35 years. Visitation will be held at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9pm, and Thursday from 10am until time of Service in the Chapel at 11am. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Cancer Assistance Program would be greatly appreciated.
