Gerald Edward Mahoney

MAHONEY, Gerald (June 20, 1926 - August 15, 2011). Our dad, Jerry, peacefully passed away in his 86th year on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Juravinski (Henderson Hospital). He was predeceased by his very special and loving wife, Noreen, April 18, 2003. Jerry will be lovingly missed by his children Michael Mahoney (Andrea), Pat Bruton (Tom), Tim Mahoney (Jan), Jacqui Mahoney and Caron Mahoney Seabrook (Gary). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Jason (Kate), Baylea, Patricia, Colleen (Joe), Shannon (Mike), Doug, Michaele (Nick), Jakeb, Samantha (Matt), Carl and Brett (Sarah). Though his great-grand children did not have much of a chance to get to know Jerry, our fond and loving memories of him will be passed on over the years to Rebecca, Anthony, Lillian, Tessa, Alexis, Austin and Andrew. The family would like to thank those staff members, past and present, from Extendicare Hamilton, that tended, to Jerry’s needs and then became a friend over the last several years. According to Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E. (at E. 14th) on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 3 p.m. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
