Gerrard Joseph Ramsbottom

Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Juravinski Hospital on January 23, 2013 at the age of 84. Reunited with his best friend and beloved wife Irene of 56 years, dear son Jimmy, son-in-law Bill and brother Albert. Will live forever in the hearts of his children Judy and Terry Cruse, Jerry and Diane, JoAnn Kelly and Bob Barber, Janice and Paul McCowell and John Ramsbottom. Cherished grampa of Jerry, Michael, B.J. and Amanda, Sarah and Dave, Samantha, Jake and Brittney. He will be sadly missed by sisters-in-law Vivian Wenslawek, Helen Melko, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A dedicated employee of Stelco retiring after more than 42 years of service. A heartfelt thank you to the Dr’s and Staff at the Juravinski Hospital 4F especially nurse Jennifer. Visiting at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday January 26, 2013 at 10am. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow. In Gerrard's memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
