Deepest condolences to all the families. Gert was a beautiful and classy woman with a great smile. I have very fond memories of her when I was a teenager.

When thinking of Aunt Gert kindness and generosity are my first thoughts. She has provided me with so many memories to look back on with all her photo shoots of my children when they were young, some of the best pictures I cherish today. First stop on Halloween was always Aunt Gert & Aunt Shelley’s house for pictures and extra special treats.  I always admired her dedication to family and the love she provided to all- through everything she still had a place her in heart for my children and I. Forever thankful and grateful. I’m loss for words. Ever since I was little my Aunt was like a mother to me. We were extremely close along with Shell-bell♥️ I’m missing them both so much. Xo xo 

She loved her Engelbert Humperdinck so when I heard he was at the casino, well that was it she had to meet him, we had to pull her off him. 

Gert was a longtime, faithful dental assistant to Dad (Walter) and sister Marilyn at 206 Main West where she was much loved by both staff and patients for her sunny disposition, gentle kindness and infectious laugh.  She had an uncanny ability to put patients at ease and relax.

Gert would often come to the house and look after us seven kids when Mom and Dad went off on vacations and we loved having her stay.  She made the times fun and truly became a member of the family.  We are lucky to have so many fond memories!
