Predeceased by his sisters Dorothy McLean (Carl) and Vera Schram (Warren) and his brother Fred Griffin (Freda).
He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; but he will be especially missed by his niece Judy Gibson (Todd) and her family.
Chic worked for many years at the City of Hamilton Sanitation Department and he retired 30 years ago as a Foreman.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hamilton Burlington SPCA would be appreciated by his family.
