Grace Ellen Hildreth

Finally "home", and now rejoicing in the presence of her Saviour, Grace Ellen Hildreth (nee Enos), passed into eternity on Sunday, March 12, 2017, in her 86th year. Devoted wife to her sweetheart George for 65 wonderful years. Beloved mother of Gary (Brenda), Lynn Knecht (Hank), Judy Runge and Doug (Sherri). Grace was a cherished grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 6. She was a faithful friend, a guiding hand and confident to so many throughout her life. A long-time member of Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, Grace and George devoted many years of service to several different church ministries. Grace was well-known for her generous hospitality and her love of entertaining family and friends, whether it be in her home, the cottage at Braeside, or in the kitchen and fellowship hall at Bethel. She loved to laugh (and make others laugh) and her teasing sense of humour will be greatly missed. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Willowgrove. Your care and compassion is so appreciated. Visitation will take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Wednesday, March 15th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm . A Funeral service will be held at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, 1355 Upper Wellington St., on Thursday, March 16th at 1 p.m. Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be welcomed.
