Harold Parker

In his 98th year, Harold Parker, departed this life on October 15th, 2011 at the Avalon Care Center in Orangeville, Ont. Harold was the beloved spouse of the late Grace Galloway. He was a long time resident of Hamilton, Ont. And a retired employee of Appleford Paper Products and Reid Dominion. Dear father of Rosemarie (David) Freeman, Margaret (Charles) Hogben, Carol (John) Hlushko, and Neal (Nancy) Parker. Much loved and admired by grandchildren Michael and Sarah Freeman, Jonathan, David and Marcus Hogben, Melissa (Gouch), Jamie and David Parker. Precious great grandfather of Aaron and Nieve Freeman, Calen, Logan, Parker, Ty and Ava Hogben, Samantha Gouch, Jessie James and Jeremiah Parker. Harold was predeceased by his parents Rose and Albert Parker and siblings Louisa, Albert and Sydney. At Harold’s request there will be no formal funeral service. He will be cremated and his ashes distributed at his cottage retreat on Lower Frye Lake. In-memory donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s or Cancer Society.
