Heather Dawne Bashaw

At around 9:40 on Tuesday, October 12, my dear sister Heather Dawne Bashaw (nee Clark), 63 years young, ended her battle with cancer and relinquished her body to join her mother Ada Joan Boyd, father Donald Bert Clark and her long lost best friend Cheryl Bull in heaven. Heather was a very beautiful, loving, and talented person. She was educated at Sheridan College as a fashion designer and ran her own successful business, Heather Dawne Designs, designing and producing women's fashions. Later she started another business, Sew On and Sew On, where she increased her repertoire to include design and production of various other sewn items such as upholstery for private and commercial use. Heather was also an excellent cook and a devoted companion of her husband Harold for 31 years. Heather will be very greatly missed by family and the very many friends she made in her life. She is survived by her husband Harold Bashaw, brother Cameron Clark (wife Lori), brother Ian Clark (wife Karissa), Aunt Sandra Sheehan (nee Boyd) (husband Robert), nephews Connor and Ashton Clark, nieces Mackenzie, Ariya, and Alyssia Clark. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Saturday, October 23rd from 2-5 pm.
